India Palace

"India Palace feels like it's really a part of India; it's so authentic." ~ Dani Johnson

For any of you who know and love the restaurant Bombay House, India Palace is the exact same thing, only less expensive and less crowded. The food tastes just as delicious as its rival, which by the way has been awarded best Indian food in Utah four years in a row, and the service is a million times better.

Walking into this quiet little restaurant is like stepping foot into a modernized, hip India. decor is chic, but still has a flair of ancient India. The food is so different from anything you've ever had, and delightfully better than expected. It's not too foreign that the taste is unfamiliar and unagreeable, but it's unique enough that it's not the typical Americanized ethnic food. It really is quite delicious, especially the peshwari naan. If you only order one thing, it has to be peshwari naan. For only a few dollars you can have your own piece of heaven in the form Theof warm, flat, sweet bread filled with coconut, honey and almonds. Oh wow, it is amazing! So next time you feel like eating something besides the same old thing, India Palace is a great place for foreign food and culture.

I just went to India Palace last night and had the best time! The place was so authentic and the people were great, but nothing was as good as the food. We went with some well traveled people and ate it with our hands - I would have paid twice as much for that experience but I didnt have to, I HIGHLY recommend it.

I love the India Palace. We go pretty often. Relaxed and casual environment. Very personal. Good food and the price isn't bad.
